Vianney Gravereaux, export manager van Philipponnat, stuurde ons onderstaande beoordelingen van Jancis Robinson over de jaargangen 2002 en 2001 van hun Clos des Goisses op.

Clos des Goisses 2002 (17/20):

A particularly rich blend. Lovely fine mousse and fantastic length but I found it just a little too sweet and diffuse for my taste. Deep flavours.

Clos des Goisses 2001 (17/20):

The mirror image of the rich 2002 released at the same time: all austerity and minerality and sharp edges, but really rather admirable and fine.  Very marked acidity and refreshment and I could imagine this continuing to gain flesh and interest in bottle, though it will never have enormous palate weight. Rivals Vilmart's Coeur de Cuvée as the most successful 2001 champagne I have ever tasted. This was a very difficult year. Two thirds Pinot Noir, one third Chardonnay. Well done!
